Telefónica positioned for sixth consecutive time as a Visionary in Gartner’s 2020 Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services

Telefónica, a leading provider of a wide range of integrated communication solutions for the B2B market, is a renowned Managed Mobility Services global provider to all sectors of industries. This year Telefónica has been positioned for the sixth time in a row in the Visionaries quadrant of independent analyst firm Gartner Inc.’s report “Magic Quadrant for Managed Mobility Services, Global.”

This year’s Magic Quadrant evaluates 14 providers, assessing across five categories for core MMS deliverables: Sourcing and logistics management, Managed UEM, Security management, Financial management and Program management (including professional services).

In addition, Telefónica has improved scores in all of the categories it is evaluated in in the Critical Capabilities Managed Mobility Services, Global report, including being in the top two providers for several of the Use Cases including Business Extension and Transformation, Mobility Outsourcing and Secure Access to Information.

“Year-on-year we continue to invest in our cloud communication services and our digital workplace portfolio, including unified communications and collaboration. We are proud to be Visionaries in this Magic Quadrant. It demonstrates our continued commitment to offering the most reliable, world-leading communication services to our customers. Our aim is to be the partner of choice for our customers to help them become more agile, efficient and to reach new markets”, states Hugo de los Santos, Telefónica Tech Cloud Director.

According to the report, “Visionaries have an innovative and disruptive view of mobility and its effect on the enterprise. However, their service capabilities are highly dependent on the use of private-labeled subcontractors, and they frequently have limited service portfolios in terms of breadth and depth. Visionaries have an early-mover advantage in providing project-based services, such as consulting, development and integration. Visionaries maintain the potential to quickly become Leaders, based on the creation of deeper managed service, or outsourcing, relationships that span tactical and strategic user requirements.”
