XipLink launches XipACE: revolutionizing application visibility

XipLink is pleased to announce XipACE, XipLink Application Classification Engine, utilizing the deep  packet inspection (DPI) engine R&S®PACE 2 from ipoque, a Rohde and Shwarz company. R&S PACE 2 is an  advanced protocol and application classification engine based on next generation DPI technology, which enables  XipACE to provide real-time IP network traffic visibility up through layer 7 and beyond, advanced solutions such  as traffic analytics, steering decisions, dynamic link bonding and other trigger points to support the growing demand  for multi-orbit networking.

“We are excited to announce the addition of XipACE, a highly advanced deep packet inspection technology that  further enhances XipOS, the industry's leading solution for optimized multi-path networking, with dramatically  more flexibility in identifying traffic beyond Layer 7.” said Jack Waters, XipLink’s Chief Executive Officer. “XipACE empowers our customers to gain an in-depth understanding of the applications running on their network, enabling  them to harness the full potential of XipOS's capabilities.”

“We are thrilled to collaborate with XipLink, harnessing our DPI engine, R&S®PACE 2, to enhance XipLink’s innovative multi-path hybrid networking solution. This partnership represents a significant advancement in  improving user experience and network efficiency within hybrid networks. Together, we're dedicated to  empowering networks with state-of-the-art solutions for unparalleled performance and security”, said Dr. Martin  Mieth, VP Engineering at ipoque.

XipOS delivers an improved end user Quality of Experience while addressing several challenges in the satellite,  cellular and wireless markets including offloading modems from high session counts, aiding performance for high  latency connections with GEO satellites, providing consistent cellular data services and utilizing available bandwidth  at the highest possible capacity. XipOS software also offers hybrid aggregation of GEO and NGSO connections to  provide future-proofed enhanced services including security and increased bandwidth scaling for a seamless multi orbit solution.
