The presidents of Redeia, Beatriz Corredor, Hispasat, Jordi Hereu, and SEPI, Belén Gualda, visited the manufacturing site of Hispasat’s upcoming satellite, the Amazon Nexus, to learn more about the project in person before the satellite’s launch scheduled for the start of 2023 in Cape Canaveral (Florida).
Together with the company presidents, during the visit to the Thales Alenia Space facilities the CEOs of Redeia, Roberto García Merino, and Hispasat, Miguel Ángel Panduro, as well as the managing director of the Telecommunications Business of Redeia, Mariano Aparicio, and the board member of Redeia and also director of participations at SEPI (Sociedad Estatal de Participaciones Industriales), Mercedes Real, all witnessed the complex final preparations, including the numerous tests which it has been subjected to on Earth to guarantee that the satellite will operate correctly once in service.
