BCA Ballistic Protection, a pioneering company in the development of solutions for high-performance ballistic protection, is taking part of IDEX 2017 from February 19 to 23 in Abu Dhabi. During the fair, BCA will be at the Brazil Pavillion, which is coordinated by the Brazilian Defense and Security Industry Association (ABIMDE) with the support of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Agency (APEX-BRAZIL). During IDEX (International Defense Exhibition and Conference), the most important event of the Defense sector in the Middle East, visitors will have a chance to see the latest BCA releases for personal, ground, sea and aerospace protection.
Among the highlights to be presented is Neoflex® Tape, the only adhesive plate in the world, with its national and international patents belonging to the Brazilian company. The NeoFlex® Tape technology is the only one that enables instant shaping and gluing, thus ensuring the optimization of processes and minimizing the chance of errors in the application process. This technological innovation allows the company to offer an exclusive, resistant product with the best performance in regard to ballistic aspects and delamination. The high-resistance threads of the plates provide a 30% superior resistance to that found in the market, being up to 25% lighter than traditional armoring.
Other products patented by BCA and showcased at IDEX 2017 include Neoflex® Panther Gold and Titanium, which respectively provide 7 and 6 layers of ballistic protection and, as a result of the high technology employed, offer more flexibility and easiness for shaping. The Neoflex line can be used in all kinds of armoring associated with police cars, vehicles, boats and aircrafts.
For personal protection, BCA will be presenting the NeoflexPlate technology for plates used by the Brazilian military task force during the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio. The ballistic plates are rigid pieces featuring an anatomical shape and are utilized for ensuring the integrity of users’ vital organs and torsos against firearms, including rifles. With the goal of providing comfort, safety and mobility, BCA has developed an exclusive technology for Inserts plates for a high level of protection, reduced weight and anatomical shape.
