SRC has been awarded a $13M contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide the Army with spare parts for the CREW Duke system.
The Counter Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Device (RCIED) Electronic Warfare (CREW) Duke system is a vehicle-mounted system that neutralizes RCIED threats. It uses an advanced software-defined architecture that supports rapid reconfiguration to adapt to evolving threat environments.
“This award will help foster innovation and research, while growing jobs locally and supporting the men and women who serve in the U.S. Army,” said U.S. Rep. John Katko (NY-24). “I’m proud to support Central New York’s strong defense industry and the cutting-edge work being done right here in our community.”
As a result of this and other recent awards, SRC is currently looking to fill over 75 open positions across the company. At least half of those openings are in CNY.
Paul Tremont, president and CEO of SRC said, “The CREW Duke system saves lives every day and sustainment support for our fielded systems is critical to protect our warfighters, helping them to return safely from their missions.” He added, "We will continue to deliver products and services to improve the lifespan of our solutions."
