The Rubb Military team is getting ready to explore building opportunities in the Baltic region after renewing their partnership with Denmark's Copenhagen Contractors A/S.
Rubb has been working with Copenhagen Contractors A/S since 2014, relating to both commercial and military hangar infrastructure projects in Greenland and some NATO contracts.
Both companies support military deployments internationally. Over the past eight years, Copenhagen Contractors has completed a wide variety of projects ranging from design-build-operate contracts on mission critical medical facilities, to accommodation buildings, Morale, Welfare & Recreation (MWR) facilities, infrastructure, ballistic protection of buildings and a variety of other international projects.
Working with Copenhagen Contractors, Rubb will be able to focus on tailoring military building projects in the Baltic States, utilising the EFASS hangar range, from single provisional buildings, to entire camps.
Jeppe Handwerk, Copenhagen Contractors CEO, said: "We are looking forward to continuing and expanding our relations with Rubb Buildings Ltd in both the Baltic Countries and Greenland. Promoting and supplying a high-quality and sustainable product, such as the Rubb EFASS, to customers is important to us."
Rubb buildings have been helping to protect UK military personnel, equipment and operations for 40 years. The relationship first took off when Rubb Buildings Ltd supplied a storage building to the Red Arrows in 1979. Since then Rubb military fabric clad structures have been meeting expeditionary operation requirements all over the world.
In more recent years Rubb's unique fabric engineered facilities have been deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan as part of UK, Canadian and USA military operations, at Gioia del Colle air base in southern Italy as part of the NATO led Operation ELLAMY and used in anti-piracy missions by EUNAVFOR in The Seychelles. Rubb EFASS structures have also been constructed in the UAE, Lithuania and Germany.
Rubb Managing Director Ian Hindmoor added: "We have worked with Copenhagen Contractors for some time and they have always been professional and knowledgable in their field. We look forward to building on this relationship and exploring new opportunities in these areas."
