Esterline Control & Communication Systems has announced that industry veteran Denise Millard has been selected as the business group’s Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Esterline Control & Communication Systems is a global group of companies specializing in human-machine interface technologies, safety-critical software, and audio and data solutions for the aerospace and defense markets.
Her responsibilities encompass all sales, marketing, and business development activities for Esterline’s AVISTA, Korry, Mason, Palomar, and Racal Acoustics brands, which comprise the Esterline Control & Communication Systems business group.
Millard joins Esterline from L3 Technologies’ Avionics Product Sector, where she held roles as Vice President of Sales and Customer Support at ACSS—the L3/Thales joint venture—and later as Vice President of International Business Development.
Prior to L3, Millard was with Thales Avionics as a Director of Marketing and Strategy for their Regional and Business Aircraft Division, and Director of Sales for the Americas in the same division. Earlier in her career, she worked as a Completions Sales Manager for Bombardier in the Business Aircraft division after serving in the Canadian Air Force in an avionics technical capacity.
Millard holds a Bachelor of Commerce (summa cum laude) from Saint Mary’s University in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and certificates in avionics and electronics from the Canadian Forces. She is married and has twin daughters.
