Atlantic Microwave to demonstrate test loop translator at IMS 2019

Atlantic Microwave, a leading provider of microwave components and satellite communication test equipment, will be showcasing its Dual Channel Test Loop Translator at IMS 2019 in Boston, USA from 4th – 6th June. Atlantic Microwave’s Test Loop Translators are designed to replace the satellite link for test and alignment of satellite dishes operating in S, C, Ku or DBS frequency bands. The Dual Channel Test Loop Translator operates with the ability to introduce different transfer characteristics in each channel and can be used in a variety of frequency conversions, from Uplink (Tx) to Downlink (Rx) or L-band, and from L-band to Downlink (Rx). This offers the user an intuitive and easy way to control the internal architecture of satellite equipment and set the desired performance. Taylor Pritchett, UK Sales Coordinator, Atlantic Microwave, commented: “Our customers are challenged with ever more complex networks that can be expensive to test. Our Test Loop Translator makes it cost-efficient and easy for our customers to continually test their satellite networks.” Atlantic Microwave will be co-exhibiting on booth 315 with its parent company, ETL Systems, which will be demonstrating its range of satellite communications and RF equipment.
