AV digitizing and archiving specialist NOA GmbH is bringing its renowned solutions and knowhow to Broadcast Asia 2019.
The event, which takes place at the Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre from June 18 to 20, will spotlight the evolution of technologies in the digital multimedia and broadcasting industries.
Abderrahmane Bessaih, NOA’s sales director for MENA and Asia along with Bruno Burtre, NOA’s director of business development, will be available at stand 4E3-01 on Level 4 to answer attendees’ questions on the archiving of legacy audio and video content, as well as on how to set up and maintain an efficient industrial digitization facility.
In addition, Burtre will present a paper on Tuesday June 18 at a special session hosted by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union on Level 3 in Room 308. Burtre’s paper, “Management and Digitization of Audio-Video Archives," will outline why it’s important for archiving specialists to envision and endeavor to achieve an infinite archiving future.
“For the last 30 years production formats have ruled the archive formats, simply because the archive has been considered as a physical drop off location of content,” explains Burtre. “Nowadays with obsolescence of VTRs, and different file formats available, the need to look forward into an eternity plus one day vision is crucial.”
“This year marks 10 years of successful business for NOA in the region,” said Jean-Christophe Kummer, managing partner of NOA. “It also offers an opportunity for us to meet with our existing customers form Mongolia, Vietnam and Hong-Kong and share with them some vital updates on industrial digitization.”
