Advanced products and solutions to launch at Space Tech Expo Europe

There’s just one week left for space industry professionals to register to attend Europe’s premier B2B space event as more exhibitors announce the technology they’ll be bringing to the show and excitement builds for the brand-new features for 2019.

Taking place 19–21 November 2019 in Bremen, Germany, Space Tech Expo Europe is the industry’s meeting place for space business, technology and innovation. Leading industry names will be present to engage with current and prospective partners and showcase new products and solutions.

This year promises to be bigger and better than ever before. High-profile exhibitors include Vibration Research, demonstrating its new technology that enhances and simplifies field data acquisition; TT Electronics, with its new lightweight, high-reliability multi-chip arrays; Thermocoax Space, showcasing its heating system for shape memory alloy technology; and PCB Synotech GmbH, bringing its technology that accurately measures pyroshock events. Meanwhile, O.C.E Technology will launch its target communication framework version of its debug tool, DMON; Gauss Instruments will demonstrate its fully automated emission measurements in real time; DÜRR NDT brings its new all-in-one NDT management software; and CGI will present a host of solutions, from cost-reduced satellite operations to up-to-date maps created from satellite images to enable reliable ground image representation and navigation.

These industry pioneers will be joined in the exhibition hall by companies including Mynaric, a leading manufacturer of high-speed and data-secure wireless laser communication products, the German Aerospace Centre and BAE Systems, whose products and services have enabled space exploration for generations.

New for 2019 is Smallsats at Space Tech Expo Europe, created in response to growing interest in smallsats across Europe. It comprises an exhibition and conference dedicated to the nascent smallsats sector where attendees and delegates can gain insights from a stellar line-up of conference speakers, learn more about industry projections and end-user market requirements, and discover first-rate smallsats technologies and solutions.

KSAT will be on hand to advise on scaling ground communication support with its Lite concept; Haigh-Farr will display its small multi-element array; and Black Arrow Space Technologies will introduce its sister company, Astrotanks, to the European market. Astrotanks is designed to service the wider satellite, launch vehicle and aerospace industry with high-performance, bespoke pressure vessels.

Returning for 2019 is the ever-popular Product Showcase, a series of demonstrations highlighting pioneering developments in space manufacturing and applications set to make waves in the industry. Visit ArianeGroup’s stand for an introduction to the new European launcher Ariane 6 and check out KSAT’s presentation on its lite ground station network. Elsewhere, Huber + Suhner will unveil new products that support the enduring trends of low weight, small size and short installation times, and MecanoID will showcase its new type of deployer that offers high technical performance and is compatible with a wide range of nanosatellites and launchers. Attendees wishing to foster current business connections or forge new partnerships should take advantage of the free B2B Matchmaking service. Created in partnership with Enterprise Europe Network, the service offers 20-minute, pre-scheduled, one-to-one meetings during Space Tech Expo Europe. It is an opportunity to meet technology providers, prepare to launch future collaborations and discover new partners for R&D projects.
