Azercosmos became the winner of the tender project on the Establishment of product forecasting system using methods of remote sensing, which was announced in Tajikistan by the Agricultural Entrepreneurship Development institution and held with the grant support from the World Bank.
As the winner of the tender, Azercosmos will provide consulting services on monitoring agricultural lands and forecasting productivity on the territory of Tajikistan using the images acquired via the Azersky satellite. Azercosmos will execute this project with the Water for Sustainable Development OBRU, which is Tajikistan’s agency specialized in water resources management.
It is worth to mention that, apart from Azercosmos, around 15 companies participated in this internationally competitive tender.
