Space Foundation announces rescheduled dates for 36th Space Symposium; to be held at the Broadmoor Oct. 31 – Nov. 3

The Space Foundation has issued a statement announcing the 36th Space Symposium has been rescheduled for Saturday, Oct. 31 through Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020. Hosted at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, the annual assembly of the world’s space community will gather leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from the civil, commercial, military, research, and international sectors to share, explore, and partner on efforts that will impact our lives beyond Earth and upon it.

In announcing the new date for the Space Symposium, Rear Admiral Tom Zelibor, USN (Ret.), CEO of the Space Foundation offered, “Working with our partners, The Broadmoor, the City of Colorado Springs, our corporate members, and other key stakeholders, we look forward to welcoming everyone back to Colorado Springs to celebrate one of the world’s most inventive and impactful communities.”

The 36th Space Symposium was originally scheduled for March 30 – April 2 but was postponed because of the unfolding Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic.

Zelibor added, “We will continue to monitor all of the public health reports and adhere to all of the federal, state, and local orders regarding public assemblies but we have confidence in planning ahead for a future that brings our community safely back together in Colorado Springs.”

Given the date and timing changes for this year’s Symposium program, attendees will find a revamped agenda from what was originally scheduled for this spring. Changes to the agenda, including updates on the presenters and programming, will be shared on a continual basis and be posted regularly on our website. Additional program announcements and adjustments will also be shared at the same site.

Registration fees paid to attend the 36th Space Symposium will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled program, which will commence on Oct. 31, 2020. Individuals choosing to not attend the rescheduled Symposium are requested to notify the Space Foundation to receive a full refund of registration fees paid.
