ETL's Hawk Dual 8x8 RF Matrix - For LEO applications

We have recently introduced the Hawk RF Matrix range to our selection of rack mounted, RF distribution products. I thought you'd be interested in hearing more about them?

Our new HWK-10 is a dual 8x8 extended L-band (500-2450 MHz) RF Matrix, with capacity for distributive and combining matrix modules in a compact 1U chassis.

Flexible routing solution The Hawk 10 has capacity for two 8x8 field replaceable matrix cards,which can be combining (fan-in) or distributive (fan-out) for uplink and downlink applications. The Hawk Matrix can be fitted with any combination of cards dependent upon requirements.

Hot-swap and field replaceable components Providing our customers with minimal downtime, the Hawk has field serviceable RF Matrix modules, CPU and HMI plus dual redundant hot-swap PSUs. Minimal training is required with a capacitive touchscreen, more intuitive HMI and improved web browser interface.

Typical applications The compact, rack space saving Hawk 10 is ideally suited to RF signal routing at LEO and MEO gateways, small HTS ground stations and deployable VSAT terminals.

Explore the range Within the Hawk Matrix series we also have the HWK-11 and HWK-15. The Hawk 11 is similar to the Hawk 10 but also benefits from variable gain control. The Hawk 15 is engineered specifically with LEO gateways in mind. The lower cost, high performance Matrix can house up to 4 of 4x4 matrix modules, each operating independently of each other in the same 1U chassis.
