ARQUIMEA has strengthened its presence in the US space market after being selected by Lanteris Space Systems, an Intuitive Machines company, to participate in the development and manufacture of 18 satellites of the Tranche 3 Tracking Layer constellation, within the framework of the Space Development Agency's (SDA) Proliferated Combat Space Architecture program.
The program is part of the contract awarded to L3Harris Technologies for the supply of 18 satellites that will contribute to the next generation of space-based detection and tracking capabilities against advanced threats, including hypersonic and ballistic systems.
Within the framework of this initiative, ARQUIMEA will be responsible for manufacturing the satellite structures, a critical component within the architecture of each platform. The work will be carried out on the Lanteris 300 model, a low Earth orbit (LEO) platform designed for high-cadence missions and recurring production. This collaboration marks ARQUIMEA's first involvement with this specific platform and reinforces its position as a supplier of structures for low Earth orbit satellites.
Participation in this program consolidates ARQUIMEA's role as a global provider of structural and thermal solutions for satellites and space vehicles in LEO, MEO and GEO orbits, expanding its presence in defense space programs in the United States.
The Tranche 3 Tracking Layer constellation will enhance advanced on-orbit sensing and data processing capabilities, contributing to a more resilient space architecture with greater global coverage for defense users and allies.
With this new contract, ARQUIMEA continues to strengthen its presence in constellation programs and reaffirms its commitment to the development of highly reliable and scalable space solutions.
