Bright Ascension appoints John Bone as Chief Commercial Officer to support next phase of growth

Bright Ascension has announced the appointment of John Bone as Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), further strengthening its executive leadership team as the company continues to expand its commercial operations and international presence.

Prior to joining Bright Ascension, John held senior commercial leadership roles with leading UK and European space organisations, including Orbex, Rhea Group, Telespazio and CGI. With more than 20 years' experience across the space and software industries, he brings a deep understanding of the commercial and institutional space sectors and a proven ability to help organisations grow, scale and deliver value to customers.

As CCO, John will be responsible for leading Bright Ascension's commercial strategy, overseeing the company's sales and marketing organisations, and developing both functions to support the company's continued growth and long-term ambitions.
