Celestia TTI is marking its debut at CABSAT by presenting its new generation GaN SSPAs and BUCs for broadcast satcom, a range of sophisticated technology solutions that go beyond any others on the market in both performance and connectivity.
A specialist in high performance products for satellite communications based on the most advanced technologies, with a track record in innovation spanning almost 30 years, Celestia TTI offers a wide range of best in class connectivity solutions combining performance with reliability and a keen eye on cost reduction.
Celestia TTI relies on the latest solid state Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology to provide powerful, flexible and durable SSPAs / BUCs that maximise linear power and operate seamlessly 24/7 in the most demanding conditions.
Its Super Extended GaN Ku SSPA is one of a new generation of GaN SSPAs / BUCs for broadcast satcom which supports advanced communications applications. The only SSPA covering the full Ku band (12.75 GHz to 14.5 GHz) in a single device, it is only available from Celestia TTI.
It meets operators’ needs for extended coverage, with a super extended frequency band, super high linear power, multicarrier operation, high MTBF and a superior lifetime based on GaN technology. With OPEX savings from reduced energy consumption, a smaller footprint and ease of operation and maintenance, it delivers outstanding performance in outdoor operations in the toughest environments.
Like all Celestia TTI SSPAs, it also features fully configurable automatic control modes, allowing users to select the AGC (Automatic Gain Control) or ALC (Automatic Level Control) settings via a web interface or direct commands.
This capability, along with the option to adjust warning thresholds, provides maximum flexibility for configuring the unit based on operational requirements, ensuring optimal performance under any conditions.
Celestia TTI’s High Power Phase-combined GaN SSPAs, meanwhile, offer next generation products for broadcast satcom in Ku, DBS and C bands.
As the only manufacturer capable of delivering ultra high power GaN SSPAs with outputs reaching several kWs, Celestia TTI provides powerful, robust yet sustainable solutions in a rapidly growing market.
Its GaN SSPAs maximise linear power, operate reliably and have longer lifespans than older technology such as TWTAs and Klystrons. They reduce OPEX by lowering electricity usage by up to 50% from multicarrier high-power uplinks, and CAPEX by cutting the number of antennas, associated footprint and manpower required.
Lower energy consumption, superior lifetime and reduced infrastructure help operators not only reduce their costs, but also their carbon footprint, an increasingly important consideration when specifying equipment.
“We are presenting some of our flagship SSPAs here at CABSAT, with products that lead the market in innovation, reliability and performance,” says Miguel Peña, Sales Director, Celestia TTI. “We offer expert advice as well as some of the most advanced solutions on the market.
“Whilst it’s our first official foray into CABSAT, we’ve been supporting broadcasters and operators across the globe with high performance products for the best part of three decades. We’re a highly technological, innovative engineering company meeting the technology needs of our customers around the world.
“With a range of other high performance SSPAs / BUCs alongside cutting-edge radiofrequency, antenna and ground stations solutions tailored for broadcast, satellite communications and aerospace customers, we deliver all the power you need. Come and talk to us today,” he says.
