IoT veteran Chirag Patel joins Globalstar as Director of Product Management, expanding satellite IoT

Globalstar, Inc. today announced that Chirag Patel has joined the company as Director of Product Management, a newly created role, reporting to David Haight, vice president of IoT.
A 20+ year IoT veteran, Patel has deep experience successfully launching multiple hardware, service, and SaaS products at a start-up and Fortune 20 companies. Patel joins Globalstar from Carrier where he led the launch of Lynx Fleet at Carrier – an IoT end-to-end solution that monitored and managed more than 1 million temperature-controlled trucks, trailers and containers transporting fresh food and pharmaceutical globally.
Prior to Carrier, Patel led and launched the digitization of the Verizon’s mobile device management platform: ThingSpace; enabling customers to activate an IoT devices in less than a minute leveraging Zero-Touch-Provisioning. He also launched the online marketplace site for customers to easily purchase products and services.
At a startup company, Enfora, Patel launched several cellular modems, mobile tracking, asset tracking products and SaaS platform for the transportation industry.
Mr. Patel will lead the Company’s product vision, strategy, roadmap and Go to Market plans for Industrial IoT products, services, and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions. He’ll be hyper focused on creating products with customer-centric approach and ensuring a best-in-class user experience for all Globalstar hardware, service, and SaaS solutions.
