Governance change at SPACEBEL: Thierry du Pré-Werson hands over to Eric Lardinois

After twenty years at the helm of SPACEBEL, Thierry du Pré-Werson is officially handing over his position as Managing Director to Eric Lardinois, who joined SPACEBEL in January 2024. Thierry will take over as Chairman of the Board from Freddy Meurs.
With 29 years' experience of working for major innovation companies in a wide range of technological fields, including aerospace, defence, security and telecommunications, Eric is a proven executive. His appointment reflects a desire for continuity, while at the same time injecting an innovative dynamic into the company.

As Chairman of the Board, Thierry du Pré-Werson will continue to contribute his expertise to the company's governance and long-term direction. Thierry will also continue to invest in the development of the Belgian space industry through his active involvement in the Belgospace and Wallonie Espace associations and the Skywin cluster, in which he holds leading positions.

His contribution has been decisive in the development and growth of the company as a major player in the space industry.
