Ground Control partners with Den Norske Kriegsforsikring for maritime resilience tracking initiative

Ground Control has been named one of three qualified vendors in DNK's for its DNK Tracking Porgramme, which responds to the growing threat of GNSS jamming and spoofing affecting commercial shipping in high risk maritime zones including the Red Sea and Persian Gulf.

The programme replaces DNK's previous Raptor scheme with a multi vendor initiative that gives member organisations the flexibility to select solutions matching their operational requirements.

Ground Control's RockFLEET Assured is a compact, marine grade tracker integrating Iridium satellite positioning and timing (Iridium STL).

It delivers trusted, independent position reporting when conventional GNSS signals are compromised, providing bridge integrity alerts, two way satellite messaging, and full fleet visibility through Ground Control's Cloudloop tracking platform.

RockFLEET Assured requires simple integration using standard NMEA protocols, making it straightforward for vessels to adopt within existing bridge systems.

Alastair MacLeod, Chief Executive of Ground Control, said "GNSS spoofing and jamming have become persistent operational realities, particularly across contested maritime zones this year. Commercial shipping now faces active, escalating threats to position reliability in high risk waters.

“Our partnership with DNK enables vessel operators to maintain trusted positioning and situational awareness where conventional GNSS cannot be relied upon. We are pleased to support DNK members in strengthening the resilience of their position, navigation and timing infrastructure."

RockFLEET Assured is already operational on commercial vessels in high risk waters. The system integrates with DNK's War Risk Insurance framework, offering member organisations a practical, field proven approach to independent position verification.
