Neo Space Group wins “Best Next-Gen Satellite Application” for its in-flight connectivity solution

Neo Space Group (NSG) has won the “Best Next-Gen Satellite Application” award at the prestigious BroadcastPro Manufacturer Awards 2025. The awards ceremony took place on May 14 at The H Hotel, Dubai, and was a key highlight of CABSAT | SATEXPO 2025 — the region’s leading event for media, broadcast, and satellite professionals.

This award recognizes NSG’s groundbreaking innovation in In-Flight Connectivity (IFC), where the company is redefining the future of passenger experience. The company’s comprehensive IFC solution combines an advanced traffic management system, a seamless digital passenger interface, and is powered by the SES Open Orbits™ multi-orbit network. This end-to-end architecture delivers global, high-speed, low-latency connectivity, enabling uninterrupted streaming, browsing, and digital engagement throughout the flight — with bandwidth speeds of up to 200 Mbps. With truly global connectivity, NSG ensures a seamless digital experience for passengers, wherever they fly.

NSG’s leadership is further demonstrated through strategic partnerships with leading international airlines, including Turkish Airlines, Thai Airways, and Uzbekistan Airways — partnerships that reflect the trust global carriers place in NSG’s ability to deliver next-generation connectivity across diverse flight routes and regions.

The award was accepted by Safinaz Murshid, Chief of Staff, on behalf of NSG CEO Martijn Blanken.

“This award is a testament to the relentless innovation and dedication of our team,” said Martijn Blanken, CEO of Neo Space Group. “We are honored to be recognized among industry leaders and remain committed to pushing the boundaries of satellite technology to better serve our global partners and their passengers.”

The BroadcastPro Manufacturer Awards, organized in collaboration with CABSAT, celebrate excellence in broadcast and satellite technology across the Middle East and Africa. Winners are selected through a combination of public voting and a panel of expert judges, ensuring that each honoree represents the highest standards of achievement and innovation.

NSG’s presence at CABSAT | SATEXPO 2025 (May 13–15, Dubai World Trade Centre) reinforced its position as a leader in satellite innovation. The event drew over 18,000 professionals and 450+ exhibitors, showcasing cutting-edge media, broadcast, and satellite technologies.
