OneWeb Technologies appoints J.J. Shaw as Chief Commercial Officer

OneWeb Technologies Inc., the premier provider of innovative and secure commercial satellite communications (SATCOM) application solutions, today announced the appointment of J.J. Shaw as its Chief Commercial Officer.

A retired Commander from the US Navy, James “J.J.” Shaw will oversee the development and execution of OneWeb Technologies’ commercialization strategy. In this role, Mr. Shaw will leverage his 30 years experience in space systems operations, national security satellite systems, and cybersecurity for both military and commercial satellite systems.

Mr. Shaw brings a wealth of prior experience leading the development and delivery of products and solutions to meet the needs of government markets and customers. Most recently, Mr. Shaw served as Vice President, Information, Security and Operations and Facility Security Officer (FSO) for Telesat US Services, LLC. Prior to that he was Vice President, Government Operations and Product Development, O3b Networks Government Solutions. He has also served as a consultant for a variety of commercial industry companies, after retiring from the US Navy in 2004.
