RCD Bullitt announces the launch of SatTag

RCD Bullitt has introduced SatTag - a beautifully compact device that brings together item finding and satellite connectivity in an entirely new way. Designed to be carried every day, SatTag makes it easy to locate what matters, stay connected beyond mobile coverage, and access help when it’s needed most.

At just 50mm x 25mm x 8mm, SatTag fits effortlessly into everyday life. It works seamlessly with both iOS and Android devices, and integrates with FindMy and FindHub networks, making it simple to locate personal belongings such as keys, bags and luggage.

But SatTag goes further.

With built-in direct-to-device satellite connectivity, SatTag enables users to send and receive messages, share their location, trigger SOS alerts, locate lost items and access an AI assistant—even when outside traditional mobile coverage. By embedding these capabilities into something users already carry, SatTag removes the need for a dedicated satellite device and ensures connectivity is always within reach.

SatTag is designed around the idea that the most important technology is the one you already have with you. Its ultra-compact form factor and integration with trusted finding networks mean it naturally becomes part of everyday carry.

Users can connect multiple SatTags to a single account - on keys, in a glove box, inside luggage, or a handbag making it easy to keep track of important items. At the same time, any SatTag can be used to access satellite connectivity, giving users flexibility and reassurance wherever they are.

SatTag is enabled by Skylo’s ultra-reliable satellite network, delivering coverage across more than 70 million square kilometres across five continents. This ensures consistent, dependable connectivity far beyond the reach of cellular networks.

At the core of SatTag is the Nordic nRF9151, the world’s most advanced NTN (Non-Terrestrial Network) chipset. This advanced architecture ensures SatTag is future-ready for 3GPP Release 19, supporting the next generation of satellite-enabled services.

Built for Real Life

SatTag is designed for longevity as well as performance, offering up to 5 months of battery life with moderate satellite usage or 12 months + battery life if just using with FindMy or FindHub networks. It is fully USB rechargeable.

With the introduction of SatTag, RCD Bullitt is establishing more than an innovative new product category - it is building an ecosystem of globally connected services. By combining consumer-friendly hardware with advanced satellite infrastructure, SatTag opens new possibilities for communication, safety, and everyday convenience.

RCD Bullitt’s connectivity platform also features a suite of open APIs, enabling developers and partners to bring third-party applications to the SatTag ecosystem and access non-terrestrial networks for the first time. Pricing and Availability

SatTag will be available later in Q2 with single SatTag retail prices at €39/$34/£34 with 3 months of satellite connectivity included.

After the included trial, satellite services are available from €2.99 per month for SOS, or €4.99 per month for unlimited access to all features. FindMy and FindHub features do not require a satellite plan.
