SRC awarded $12.4m contract to continue work on US Air Force Agile Condor System

SRC has been awarded a $12.4 million cost-plus, fixed-fee modification to a previously awarded contract by the US Air Force Research Laboratory for Multi-Domain Agile Condor®.  The work will take place in Syracuse, NY, and is expected to be completed by October 2026.

The contract calls for the modification of computing design, development, hardware acquisition and real-time flight demonstration. The Agile Condor high-performance embedded compute architecture is government-owned, non-proprietary, modular and extensible that enables onboard processing of big data.

"SRC is proud to expand our partnership with the US Air Force through this contract" said Kevin Hair, president and CEO of SRC. "This award reflects our commitment to advancing the Agile Condor system and will allow for the successful completion of missions and the safe return of our warfighters."

The Agile Condor system is a scalable, low cost, size, weight and power system that has been ground and flight-demonstrated and can be employed across any domain, platform and sensor. The system provides for fast technology refresh, which decreases life cycle costs, reduces system downtime and assures continued usefulness of the system. It also provides the capability to run a set of distributed software algorithms, leveraging heterogenous computing, including existing advanced signal processing, artificial intelligence and machine-learning algorithms to create smarter, more autonomous platforms and sensors.
