Terrasat to expand its multi-band, multi-orbit RF products

Following the successful launch of several new high-powered RF products in 2025, Terrasat Communications will continue to expand its multi-band, multicarrier offerings in 2026 for multi-orbit applications.

In 2025, Terrasat strengthened its focus on versatility for state-of-the-art ground stations through multi‑band, multicarrier, and multi‑orbit capabilities.  The company phased out its lower-power RF products and successfully introduced a new line of high-power products, including multiband Ku-band capability on its smallest and most power-efficient IBUC 3G platform. Initially introduced with a lightweight, DC‑powered 40W version supporting output power levels from 16W to 40W. This was  later expanded with AC‑powered configurations and higher output power levels using the IBUC 2G chassis.

Terrasat also revamped the Ka‑band product line, with features including software‑selectable multiband units (up to quad‑band) and an exclusive IF‑selectable frequency conversion feature, in addition to RF frequency selection. The company also introduced an 800W C‑band IBUC in a single‑chassis configuration, representing Terrasat’s move toward higher power densities in more compact designs.

Building on its success, Terrasat CEO Jit Patel says that it will continue to expand the company’s lineup of high-power uplink products. Among the upcoming launches in 2026 will include a single‑chassis, compact 800W Ku‑band unit, details of which will be announced later.

“In 2026, we will continue to expand our products’ multi-band and multi-orbit capabilities through continuous improvement and our commitment to product quality and reliability.   We will leverage our 30‑year history as a U.S.-based  Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) to deliver reliable, feature-rich RF solutions and grow our presence in the markets that we serve. We are full committed to  meeting the needs of next-generation SATCOM networks and evolving customer requirements,” said Terrasat CEO Jit Patel.

“Our focus going forward is on higher-power RF products for better performance.  This shift reflects the broader industry trend toward more demanding applications—where higher power, multi-orbit connectivity, and increased throughput are essential. By prioritizing performance, we’re staying ahead of evolving satcom requirements and continuing to deliver the reliability our customers count on,” added Patel.
