The leading cyber-security company C3IA Solutions has added another high-flyer to its team.
Mark George who worked in counter-intelligence for the RAF for many years will operate in the company’s threat and risk management department.
C3IA Solutions based in Poole, Dorset, was one of the very first companies to be certified by the National Cyber Security Centre, and works in the public and private sectors.
It has well over 100 people working for it both as employees and on contract.
Mark, 47, joined the RAF police 23 years ago and then moved into counter-intelligence and has worked around the world.
Latterly, he has been supporting the special forces in Hereford where he lives.
He said: “I have just left the RAF and my skills have enabled me to move into the private sector with C3IA Solutions.
“I was aware of the company during my counter-intelligence work and I know they have a strong reputation.
“My work in the RAF involved all types of security, including physical security and information assurance – or cyber security.
“C3IA Solutions is a progressive company in that it doesn’t stay still and I can grow and develop, and that really appealed to me.”
Matt Horan, security director of C3IA Solutions, said: “There is a scarcity of people with the right skills for the work we do, so we’re extremely pleased to have recruited Mark.
“He has had a long career in counter-intelligence and along with the skills he has the experience and a high level of security clearance.
“Our business has been very busy through the pandemic with so many people working from home and a need to keep them secure.
“The future will see more need for cyber security and we are able to deliver it in the private and public sectors.”
