Simoco Wireless Solutions partners with Excelerate Technology

Simoco Wireless Solutions a global leader in deploying mission critical communication solutions across the World has partnered with Excelerate Technology, a leading provider of hybrid connectivity solutions to governments, civil defence agencies, and emergency services. The partnership enables Simoco Wireless Solutions to provide IoT, LTE and satellite connectivity solutions across the Australasia region.

As a global supplier of ubiquitous hybrid LTE and satellite connectivity, Excelerate’s solutions can provide reliable communication where no options are available. This innovative technology is critical in areas where no terrestrial communications services exist, may be congested, under threat, or suffering from disruption.

Simoco Wireless Solutions and Excelerate are privately owned British companies with a long-standing history of providing products and services to critical communications and mission critical customers in the UK and around the world. The partnership will significantly complement Simoco’s existing range of next generation communications products, designed to ensure that emergency services and other mission critical users in the Australasia region have access to the very latest technology, specifically designed to meet the ever-evolving demands of their day-to-day operations.

Mike Norfield, group CEO of Simoco Wireless Solutions commented, “I believe we will make a strong partnership. Excelerate’s IoT, LTE and satellite connectivity solutions fits perfectly into our existing portfolio of mission critical products and solutions which are at the vanguard of modern public safety communications.”

David Savage, founder, and CEO of Excelerate said: “We see this partnership with Simoco as an exciting one with a combined experience spanning 90 years in delivering ubiquitous connectivity solutions between the two companies. The partnership will form part of our global partner program and will enable us as a company to scale up our reach and to work with likeminded organisations that are at the forefront in providing critical communications to those who need it most and need it instantly – regardless of location.”

The partnership is expected to complete in October 2022 and the two companies will be demonstrating their combined expertise on stand 108 at the Comms Connect exhibition in Melbourne, Australia during 18th - 20th of October 2022.
